The Communications Unit plays a vital role in keeping NYPD connected, informed, and engaged. We are responsible for hosting the Worker of the Week (WoTW) program, a key initiative that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding contributions of our team members.

In addition to WoTW, the unit manages our social media accounts, ensuring that all content aligns with our goals and values, and keeping our online presence active and engaging.

We also handle the creation and editing of various posters, publications, and visual materials to support internal and external communication efforts.
